Ricardo A. Moreno C. is a Partner in our Corporate/M&A Department. Ricardo has a breadth of experience in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, corporate, tax and commercial law. Ricardo also co-leads our Tax practice.
His expertise includes corporate and tax structures, as well as advising buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisition deals. He has assisted local and multinational companies in general commercial matters.
After graduating from the Universidad Católica Santa Maria la Antigua with a Law and Political Sciences degree (with honours) in 2007, Ricardo then went on to gain his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Georgetown University Law Center, with a specialization in Securities and Financial Regulation. He also obtained a Certificate in Foundations of American Law and Legal Education from Georgetown University Law Center
After obtaining his LL.M. degree from Georgetown University Law Center, Ricardo worked at Fox Horan & Camerini in New York in their corporate and commercial department assisting US-based clients doing business in Latin America.
His abilities in commercial law have been recognized by the World Economic Forum, who named him as a “Global Shaper” in the Panama City Hub in 2013.
Ricardo is a member of the Panama Bar Association as well as the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM). He is an active member of the Latin American Law Advisory Board of Georgetown University Law Center.
