Alfredo Ramírez Jr. is a Partner at our firm’s Corporate/M&A Department, Banking & Insurance Department, and also devotes a significant amount of his time to handle litigation matters and project finance operations. His experience includes capital markets, regulated industries, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
Alfredo served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Panama Canal Authority from 2000 to 2013, and also served on the Presidential Commission advising on legislation involving the banking sector and the Panama Canal Constitutional Amendments. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Banesco S.A.
His vast expertise is highlighted in Chambers and Partners Latin American Guide in the Banking and Finance department (band 3) and the Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions department (band 2 ranking).
